This super rare pale pink sea glass is most likely from the first world war era. Up until then we imported chemicals from Germany to turn our glass white. Come the 1st world war and we changed the way we made white glass. Fine at the time but over the decades the chemicals within the glass have broken down and turned it a seriously delicate shade of pink. This will darken as the glass ages more. So, in order to leave the glass as found, i bezel set the piece in silver, showing off the stunning colour and saving me the worry of drilling such a special piece of glass.
